Terms of Service

Welcome to BeeIn (the "Service"). The Service is provided by Taiwan Telecom, Inc. By registering or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.
1. Scope of Service
BeeIn provides:
- Secure encrypted 1:1 and group messaging
- Multi-persona management
- Official Accounts (OA) with webhook integration and Bot API
- Digital tickets and sticker store
- HereLink pickup-notification service
- Cross-platform integration and external site integration (LIFF)
Features may be added, changed, or removed as the product evolves. Major changes will be announced in the app or on the website.
2. Account Registration & Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old (16 in some regions) to register
- Registration information must be truthful; using a forged identity violates these terms
- One email may hold one BeeIn account (with up to 6 personas)
- You are responsible for safeguarding your password and verification codes; losses caused by leakage are your responsibility
- If your account is compromised, contact [email protected] immediately
3. User Conduct
When using the Service, you may not:
- Send unlawful, harassing, bullying, discriminatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or violent content
- Distribute malware, phishing links, or spam
- Publicly disclose another person's private data, conversations, or images without consent
- Impersonate others, forge official accounts, or pretend to be staff
- Attempt to crack, reverse-engineer, or attack the Service's security mechanisms
- Run high-volume automated operations (except via a legitimate Bot API token within rate limits)
- Infringe third-party intellectual property (including unauthorized images, music, video)
- Engage in activities that violate applicable local law
Violations may result in immediate account suspension, content removal, or referral to law enforcement, without prior notice.
4. Content Ownership
- User content: copyright in messages, images, stickers, and stories you send remains with you
- License: to deliver the Service (transmission, storage, cross-device sync) you grant us a limited license to process your content as needed
- We do not claim commercial rights to your personal content and will not use it for advertising or AI-model training
- Service content: the BeeIn platform's software, marks, and design belong to Taiwan Telecom, Inc.
5. Official Account (OA) Special Terms
When you create or operate an OA:
- OA administrators bear full responsibility for content sent — ads, broadcasts, auto-replies, etc.
- OA Bot API tokens are equivalent to account credentials; leakage is your responsibility. We recommend least-privilege use and regular rotation.
- When connecting external AI / CRM via webhook, the OA bears responsibility for that external service's compliance and privacy
- Mass-spam via OA is prohibited; broadcast rate is limited per minute. Violators may have their account suspended.
6. Paid Services
- Core features are free. Paid items include premium sticker packs, advanced OA features, etc.
- Payments are processed by Stripe, subject to Stripe's terms and applicable tax law
- Digital content (e.g. stickers) is non-refundable once downloaded / activated, except where the file is corrupted and unusable
- Paid OA subscriptions can be cancelled anytime; no charges in the next billing cycle, but access remains until the paid period ends
7. Availability & Changes
- We strive for 24/7 availability but do not guarantee zero downtime
- Scheduled maintenance is announced in-app ahead of time
- We are not liable for outages caused by force majeure (natural disasters, network failures, third-party service outages)
- We reserve the right to change or discontinue features. Material changes are announced 30 days in advance.
8. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these terms or applicable law
- The account is dormant (no login for over 365 days)
- Reports from multiple users are substantiated
- Required by a court or competent authority
You can also self-terminate via Settings → Account → Delete Account at any time.
9. Disclaimer & Liability
- The Service is provided "as is" without guaranteeing fitness for every intended purpose
- BeeIn does not undertake to review or moderate every user message or information provided by third-party OAs
- Aggregate liability for indirect damages (e.g. lost profits, data loss) is capped at the total amount you actually paid in the preceding 12 months
- If you lose your end-to-end encryption keys without backup (e.g. by wiping the device), historical messages cannot be recovered
10. Disputes
- Disputes arising from the Service should first be resolved through negotiation.
- These terms and any dispute arising from use of the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules.
- Failing negotiation, the parties agree that the state and federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware shall be the court of first instance.
- Where the consumer-protection law of the user's jurisdiction (e.g. Taiwan's Consumer Protection Act) provides mandatory rules on consumer-dispute venue, those rules prevail — consumers may sue at their place of domicile.
11. Terms Changes
For material changes to these terms, we will notify you via in-app announcement and update the "Last updated" date on this page 30 days before the effective date. If you do not agree to the change, you may delete your account before the change takes effect; continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
